Fenugreek For Faster And Thicker Hair Growth

Fenugreek has been used by Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for centuries. They are found in either seed or powder form. This powerful plant is rich in foil acid, Vitamins A,K and C. It is also rich in minerals potassium, calcium and iron. These are all important vitamins and minerals for hair growth. There are large amounts of lecithin in fenugreek that stimulate hair follicles to grow faster. You can find fenugreek in either powder or seed form, they are both just as beneficial for your hair. Here are some ways to use fenugreek for faster and thicker hair growth.

Benefits of Fenugreek

Fenugreek is anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal. It contains flavonoids and saponins that give you a healthy scalp which leads to healthy hair growth. It’s rich in protein and iron which are important for healthy hair growth. It thickens and increases your natural hair growth. It promotes hair growth by preventing dandruff, controlling sebum production and helps with dry scalp.

How to use

Fenugreek powder or seeds can used to make hair masks, leave-in, and hair oil. These are all fairly easy to make and you should see results right after using it.

Fenugreek rinse or Leave-in

Add 3 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds into 1/4 cup of water. Leave the mixture in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Strain the fenugreek water from the seeds into a spray bottle. To use as a rinse, after washing your hair you can spray this on leaving it on your hair for 5 minutes before deep conditioning. As a leave-in you can spray it on your hair while styling.

Hair Mask

For this add 3 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds to 1/4 cup of water. Leave the mixture in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Pour the mixture into a blender adding a banana or avocado along with 2 tablespoons of aloe vera juice. Blend until its a smooth texture. You can also use any left over as a face mask.

Hair oil

In this method you would infuse fenugreek in with your hair oil for the scalp. Add 3 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds to 2 cups of oil. This is good for scalp massages to stimulate hair growth.
