Hair Rinses For Hair Growth

A hair rinse can be a great addition to your hair routine if you are looking for ways to grow healthy hair. They are rich in nutrients necessary for hair growth and can help with issues like shedding, dandruff, and breakage. These rinses are easily made at home with natural ingredients. Here are some hair rinses for hair growth.

Mint and Rosemary

Rosemary and mint essential oils increase blood circulation allowing for more oxygen to get to the scalp. This stimulates the hair follicles, giving you thicker hair growth. Rosemary also improves the health of the scalp, resulting in healthy hair. This hair rinse will improve circulation to the hair follicles and act as an antioxidant. To make this rinse boil 1 cup of mint leaves and I cup of rosemary leaves for 15 minutes. Let it infuse overnight and drain before using.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek is anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal. It contains flavonoids and saponins that give you a healthy scalp which leads to healthy hair growth. It’s rich in protein and iron which are important for healthy hair growth. Fenugreek thickens and increases your natural hair growth while also promoting hair growth by preventing dandruff, controlling sebum production and helps with dry scalp.

To make this rinse add 3 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds into 1/4 cup of water. Leave the mixture in the refrigerator to infuse for 24 hours. Strain the fenugreek water from the seeds into a spray bottle. To use as a rinse, after washing your hair you can spray this on leaving it on your hair for 5 minutes before deep conditioning. As a leave-in you can spray it on your hair while styling.

Rice Water

Rice water has vitamins and minerals necessary for healthy hair that promote hair growth. Rice water also  protects and repairs the hair, increases shine and helps detangle the hair. It may increase the elasticity of hair strands, which strengthens the hair. Rice contains amino proteins that regenerate the hair. It also contains inositol that helps repair damaged hair. The proteins in rice give the hair a protective barrier that protects against damage. The amino acids in rice water thicken the hair and makes the hair shiny.

To make rice water add 1/2 cup of raw rice to 2-3 cups of water. Cook rice and strain when the rice is nearly cooked. Let it cool and add the rice water to a spray bottle to apply onto the hair. Let it sit on the hair for about 5 minutes, then rinse.
