Sauna

Sauna use resets the nervous system and increases blood circulation, increasing blood flow to the brain. The heat in saunas has been shown to have a positive impact on the mitochondria, what powers the cells. This helps the body naturally produce more energy and helps you stay in shape. It makes the blood vessels dilate, oxygenate the cells, and improves circulation. Studies show that sauna use helps stimulate the production of white blood cells and collagen by increasing cellular energy. Hot and cold therapies are very effective for energy levels.

Ice Shower

Cold showers have many health benefits. They increase endorphins, by taking a cold shower for up to 5 minutes, it has been shown to help with symptoms of depression. It works as a type of electroshock therapy, as the water  sends electrical impulses to your brain. This increases alertness, clarity, and energy levels. It releases endorphins, the happy hormones, leading to feeling better.

Movement

Getting your body moving will in turn give you energy. When you exercise cellular changes occur in the body. Your body produces more mitochondria inside the muscle cells, this is the powerhouse of cells where fuel is created out of glucose from food and oxygen you breathe. Any type of physical exercise that gets the heart rate up will raise energy levels. This will strengthen the heart and give you more stamina. The body also gets an increase in hormone levels that will give you more energy.

Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent fasting is when you eating during a certain window of 8 to 12 hours and fast for 12 to 16 hours. Whenever you eat your body has to use energy to metabolize the food. Intermittent fasting increases hormone function to help with weight loss. This lowers insulin levels, produces higher HGH levels, and increases the amount of norepinephrine, resulting in an increase in energy. Fasting also gives you an increase in the production of ATP, the molecule that carries energy within the cells.

Magnesium Glycinate

Magnesium is essential to the body, being deficient in magnesium will show up in the body as body aches, headaches, poor sleep, and low energy. If you are deficient, by adding a magnesium supplement you will experience better sleep and more energy.
